Charles Wells Pub Company is committed to providing a Great Pub Experience for everyone who visits one of our pubs and works closely with licensees to achieve this.
A significant investment is made in responsible alcohol retailing to achieve such an experience and it takes a number of forms.
- All licensees taking over their own Charles Wells pub must attend our award winning induction programme, CRISP. This includes sections on responsibility and reminds licensees of their obligations and where to seek further help and information if required.
- Within our Eagle Training Centre, a number of courses are available to teach and test delegates on their alcohol retailing knowledge. These include the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (essential for anyone wanting to run their own pub), National Certificate for Designated Premises Supervisors and the Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing.
