Location
Situated on the corner of High Street and King Street in the centre of Saffron Walden. From the M11, leave at Junction 8 and follow signs to Saffron Walden. Once in the town centre (High Street) the Cross Keys is situated on the left at the traffic lights at the bottom of the hill. Saffron Walden is a medieval East Anglian market town and is one of the finest preserved examples of its kind. Exceptionally pretty and located close to Junction 8 of the M11, Cambridge is 15 miles away and Stansted airport is also close by. It has all the facilities expected from an affluent market town with excellent schools, a leisure centre on the outskirts of the town and a wide choice of shops in a vibrant town centre. There is a large car park located just a couple of minutes walk from the Cross Keys. Tour coaches drop off just outside the pub to visit the Market Square, the Museum and Bridge End Garden, which are just some of the many tourist attractions.
