We're backing the pub - will you?

The British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) has launched a new campaign called 'I'm backing the pub - give beer a break' which follows on from the previous 'Axe the Tax' campaign.The campaign calls on the Government to reduce duty on beer to help alleviate some of the problems pubs are facing in the recession.
Charles Wells Pub Company is supporting the campaign and urging everyone who values the traditional English pub to do the same.
The success of 'I'm backing the pub' could depend on how many MP's sign an early day motion calling for beer duty to be reduced when VAT returns to 17.5% on 1st January 2010.
