With summer underway, popular town pub The Park Pub & Kitchen on Kimbolton Road has unveiled its brand new Garden Room and Conservatory to customers.

Successful Pub Partnership Extended To Third Site

Bedford brewer and pub operator, Charles Wells has announced it’s extending its partnership with multiple operators Yummy Pub Co to refurbish and revitalise a London pub with a prime location. The Victoria in Bow, East London will be the third pub in which the companies have a shared interest following highly successful developments under lease agreements at The Somerstown Coffee House in Euston and The Gorringe Park in Tooting. Yummy Pub Co also run a further two pubs – The Grove Ferry Pantry Pub and Inn in Kent and The Wiremill in Surrey.

The Knife And Cleaver Awarded The 2014 Tripadvisor Certificate Of Excellence

The Knife & Cleaver, AA Awarded 4 Gold Star Inn,  has received the TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Establishments awarded the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website.

The Narrow Boat At Weedon Awarded Aa Rosette For Food Excellence

The Narrow Boat at Weedon has been awarded a prestigious AA Rosette in recognition of culinary excellence this month, along with retaining a 4* Inn rating for its seven bedrooms.

The Charles Wells pub is run by Richard and Karen Bray and their family, with their son Daniel heading up the kitchen. The coveted AA Rosette, which is only awarded to around 10% of UK restaurants, was given to the team after they impressed an AA Inspector with the skill, care and excellent quality ingredients which go into their menu.

Richard and Karen Bray said of the achievement: “We are exceptionally pleased to gain this recognition. Our son and head chef Daniel and his team are really passionate about producing great quality food in a relaxed and informal pub setting. We all really proud of the service we offer at The Narrow Boat and the Rosette award is just the icing on the cake!”
