A great country pub that is welcoming to regulars and visitors, it is well known for being dog friendly and ideally located to attract dog walkers.

Food:

The Black Horse is famous for it's food. Open 7 days a week, lunches are served from 12 to 2.15pm. Sunday Lunch is from 12 to 2.30pm. We recommend that you book ahead on a Saturday or Sunday lunchtime at weekends, especially if the weather is fine. The restaurant is open in the evenings from 6.30pm to 9.15pm (no food Sunday evening.
