The Bull, Theydon Bois' dates back to the 17th Century. The Bull was orignally a private residence called 'The Tile House'. The building was later extended and became an inn known as 'The Bull's Head' before settling on the name we know today. Today the pub retains much of it's original charm with exposed oak beams and polished wood floors in the bar area.

Food:

When eating at The Bull there is an extensive menu as well as a list of Daily Specials on the blackboard. On Sundays you can join us for a Traditional Roast and let us do all of the hard work for you. Pre-booking for dinner at the Weekends is recommended. Food is served Monday to Saturday 12 noon to 3pm & 5.30pm to 9pm. Sunday 12 noon to 4pm.

Bar Meals:

As well as our main meals we offer a wide selection of Sandwiches, Baguettes, Jacket Potatoes and Ploughmans lunches all with a variety of delicious fillings

Games:

Sky and Setanta Sports - All major sporting events are shown on a large screen TV located at the far end of the bar away from the restaurant

Real Ales:

Wide selection of real ales available such as Wells Bombardier.

Wines:

A large selection of wines, including favourites such as Pinot Grigio and Merlot, are always available by the glass or by the bottle
