Welcoming 300 year old pub consisting of two bars, raised dining area, enclosed garden with fenced children’s areas and wooden trellised smoking shelter. Camping site and self-contained function/meeting rooms, complete the facilities together with a large car park. Food is available all week and is based on traditional English fayre, ranging from simple basket meals through to traditional Sunday roasts with all the trimmings. Children are welcome and fully catered for. Fun is the order of the day for bank holidays and special occasions when family fun can be enjoyed by all. Come join our maypole dancing and tug ‘o’ war competitions or the quieter games of ‘connect four’, giant draughts, lawn darts and many more games.

Food:

Food is served:- 1200-1430 & 1800-2100 Monday to Friday and 1200–1600 Sunday. There are lunchtime & evening menus with a range of foods suitable for all ages and tastes. Most dishes can be adapted with gluten free flour to suit customers with special dietary needs. Choose from : Traditional English dishes e.g. Mixed grill, Sirloin/Rump steaks, Shepherd’s pie, Steak & Ale pie, Ham, egg & chips with pasta dishes and rice dishes on the Specials Board. All dishes are available for children – half portions for half cost. Selection of home-made puddings and desserts served with a choice of ice-cream, pouring cream, squirty cream or custard

Bar Meals:

Bar meals are available choose from a selection of Basket meals – scampi, sausage, fish goujons, chicken nuggets, burgers, chicken burger, vegetable burger. All at £4.95 Doorstep sandwiches with a choice of White, Wholemeal and multi grain bread and various fillings and salad garnish with doritos. All at £4.95 Plated meals from the menu ranging from £5.95 to £8.95

Entertainment:

Quiz night – every Thursday 8.30 ish. Bingo – every Tuesday 8.30 ish. Live music monthly in the ‘Stables’.
