Export Beers
Wells & Young’s range of award winning brands are sold throughout the UK and are exported to around 25 countries world-wide. The brewery’s success in overseas markets was recognised in 1997 when the company received the Queen’s Award for Export Achievement.
Indeed, it is these attributes that have secured Wells & Young’s licensed agreements from two of the world’s biggest drinks companies, Diageo and Kirin, to produce and distribute their brands within the UK.
Furthermore, Wells & Young’s offers the benefits associated with a heritage of brewing traditional brands which are sold in the UK in it’s own estate of over 240 traditional pubs as well as through 25 ‘John Bull’ franchised pubs across 5 international markets.
The extensive range of Wells & Young’s beers, which are brewed using natural mineral water from an independently accredited source - our own well, are available in both draught and packaged formats for the export market.
Wells & Young’s offers a wide range of packaged (bottles and cans) and draught (in 30 litre returnable kegs) beers - including bitters, lagers, stout and cider. They are enjoyed by those not accustomed to British beer, as well as by seasoned drinkers, which explains their success and popularity in export markets.
